About Hostim.dev

Modern cloud platforms are often too expensive, too complex, or both. We built Hostim.dev to be a better alternative – lean, affordable, and open.

Why Hostim.dev

Hostim.dev is a lightweight, developer-focused PaaS built in the EU. Whether you're deploying a Django app, a Node.js backend, or a full-stack Compose project – everything runs on bare-metal servers in Germany, with instant HTTPS and no vendor lock-in.

Unlike traditional cloud providers, we don't charge for mysterious usage metrics or expect you to learn Kubernetes. You get simple hourly pricing, free tiers for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis, and full control over your apps, volumes, and logs.

Choose from Git, Dockerfile, or Compose workflows – we support them all. It's ideal for solo developers, small agencies, and anyone tired of cloud complexity. Paste your Compose file and go live – no YAML, no nonsense.

From local Compose to client-ready

Paste your Docker Compose and click deploy. Hostim.dev wires databases, volumes, networking, metrics, and HTTPS on EU bare-metal – no YAML, no cloud lock-in. Each project is isolated with clear, per-project cost tracking so you can hand it over cleanly.

1. Big cloud is broken

AWS, GCP, and Azure dominate the market – and charge a premium for it. Most of our competitors build on top of them, which means high prices and a big chunk of revenue going to tech giants.

We don't want that.

2. Bare metal, full control

We run on our own bare metal infrastructure. It's 10× cheaper than big cloud – and that savings goes to paying real people, not platforms.

Yes, it's harder. But it's worth it.

3. Simplicity for developers

Kubernetes is powerful, but hard to set up. We built Hostim.dev to hide that complexity while keeping all the power.

Just use Docker – we handle the rest.

4. Scalable by design

We made it easy to scale your apps both vertically (bigger instances) and horizontally (more replicas) – without needing to learn Kubernetes.

5. Built for security

All containers on Hostim.dev run inside lightweight VMs using Kata Containers. This gives you stronger isolation than regular Docker, without the overhead of full VMs.

Hostim.dev is built for developers who want control, simplicity, and fair pricing.
