How does Hostim handle Next.js compared to Vercel?
You ship a Dockerfile (the standalone Next.js output works well) and Hostim runs it as a long-lived container. There are no per-invocation function fees or bandwidth surcharges — pricing is flat per app.
Where does Hostim host my app?
On bare-metal servers in Germany. Hostim does not use AWS or any US-based provider for compute or storage.
Does Hostim charge for bandwidth?
No. App plans include traffic. Hostim does not bill per request, per function invocation or per GB of egress.
Can I host a backend API on Hostim?
Yes. Hostim runs long-running container processes, so REST/GraphQL APIs, gRPC services, websocket servers and background workers all work natively — Vercel limits these to its functions runtime.
