How much does Hostim.dev cost?
Apps start at €2.50 per month for a flat monthly price that includes compute, HTTPS with automatic certificates, live logs, basic metrics, and traffic. Managed databases and persistent volumes are billed separately, each with a free tier. All prices are in EUR excluding VAT, billed hourly with a 1-hour minimum.
What is included in the price?
Every app price includes compute, HTTPS with automatic certificates, live logs, basic metrics, and traffic to your apps. Managed databases (Postgres, MySQL, Redis) and persistent volumes are billed separately so you only pay for what you use.
Are databases and storage charged separately?
Yes, but every type has a free tier so a small app can run at no extra cost. Each project includes one free Postgres (256 MB), one free MySQL (256 MB), one free Redis (128 MB) and one free volume (1 GB). Larger sizes and dedicated instances are billed flat per month — the full table is at https://hostim.dev/docs/billing/pricing-model/.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New accounts get a 5-day trial with no credit card required. You can deploy real apps, attach databases, and test the full platform before you pay. After the trial, billing is hourly with a 1-hour minimum, in EUR, excluding VAT.
Does Hostim.dev charge for bandwidth or build minutes?
No. Traffic to your apps is included in the app price, and there are no build-minute, per-request, or per-function charges. This is the main difference from usage-based platforms like Vercel, Netlify, and Railway, where the monthly bill moves with traffic.
How is billing calculated?
Billing is hourly with a 1-hour minimum, so a resource you run for three hours costs three hours. Your invoice is the sum of the hours each app, database, and volume was running that month, in EUR excluding VAT.
Can I change or cancel my plan at any time?
Yes. You can resize an app, add or remove a database or volume, or delete a project at any time. Because billing is hourly, charges stop as soon as the resource is deleted — there is no contract or notice period.
Where are the servers located?
Hostim.dev runs on bare-metal servers in Germany, inside the EU. Data stays on EU infrastructure, which keeps deployments under GDPR and outside the US CLOUD Act.
