When Sevalla is the better choice
If your users are in North America or Asia and your app is something they wait on — a consumer product, a server-rendered page, an interactive dashboard — Sevalla can put a pod near them and Hostim cannot. Hostim runs one region, in Falkenstein, Germany. A round trip from New York is roughly 95 ms and from Sydney considerably more, and no amount of price advantage makes that disappear. A US East region is on the waitlist, not on the network.
